Peterston Flower Club
This friendly Club welcomes women and men regardless of horticultural skill or knowledge and has a membership of about 100, the majority of whom attend the meetings held in the Village Hall. We generally have 6 meetings in the year at which we are informed and entertained by expert guest speakers, whose produce of plant and seeds are usually on sale at the subsequent refreshment time.
Visits to nationally recognised gardening venues are arranged twice a year, supplemented by visits to local places of gardening interest.
The annual dinner at the Hall in January cements the social intent of the Club and the AGM in May is rounded off with a fine buffet.

The Flower Show is affiliated to the RHS and is an annual event that takes place in the Village Hall on the last Saturday in June. The Flower Show has a long history in the Village and showcases local exhibits of outstanding quality in the fields of horticulture, floral decoration and art, handicrafts, and culinary. There is a large children’s section which is in partnership with the local school. There is a Flower Show committee of 15 dedicated people who plan and stage the Show, and we also would welcome new members and/or helpers.
