Peterston Flower Club

This friendly Club welcomes women and men regardless of horticultural skill or knowledge and has a membership of about 100, the majority of whom attend the meetings held in the Village Hall. We generally have 6 meetings in the year at which we are informed and entertained by expert guest speakers, whose produce of plant and seeds are usually on sale at the subsequent refreshment time.

Visits to nationally recognised gardening venues are arranged twice a year, supplemented by visits to local places of gardening interest.

The annual dinner at the Hall in January cements the social intent of the Club and the AGM in May is rounded off with a fine buffet.

St. Peter's Church

St Peter's Church is one of 8 churches in the East Vale Ministry Area. Each church is served by a team of clergy and all have strong local lay leadership.

The Sunday Eucharist at St Peter's is at 9.30am (11.00am during the pandemic) and there is also a Wednesday Eucharist at 12.30pm. All are assured of a warm welcome.

The present Church Coordinators at St Peter's are Delyth Hurley and Jan Parry. The building dates mainly from the 15th century, although some parts are 200 years older. It was substantially restored in 1890. St Peter's has a ring of 6 bells and also an excellent Church Choir.
